For over 12 years, Susanne Shibley’s work has focused on helping organizations to prepare, manage and reinforce change. Susanne brings to LM Dulye & Co. deep experience in organizational change management, internal communications, training and project management.

Having championed multiple change management and performance improvement efforts for Fortune 100 companies in a variety of industries, her work focuses on organizational change management efforts for large scale transformations such as an IPO, technology implementations and corporate restructures. She successfully managed internal and executive communication programs for Cisco Systems Inc., Siemens and Infineon Technologies Corp. on a national and international level and did own her a consulting practice for several years.

Susanne’s passion lies in helping employees transition in times of change. She has a proven track record in the design of change management programs including change assessment, gap analysis, stakeholder modeling, impact analysis, sponsorship planning, communication planning, project management, training development, and success measurement.

Specific projects include the North American management of all internal communications and global alignment efforts guiding a 30,000 employee organization through a name change and IPO during a billion dollar spin-off from a Fortune 100 organization, the design of on-boarding processes and training programs resulting in accelerated hiring and project ramp-up, change management support for major IT initiatives resulting in faster application development, more effective roll-out and successful IT investments and the design and management of a variety of internal communication channels including print, face-to-face, and online media.

Having worked and lived on different continents herself, Susanne enjoys working internationally as well as cross-functionally. She has led global team efforts and facilitated leadership sessions in Europe and in the US. Her work with Fortune 100 companies has been featured in Strategic Communication Management.

Susanne holds a BA in design and the equivalent degree of an MBA from Witten/Herdecke University Germany. From ‘96/’97 she was a visiting researcher at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she studied the approach to organizational learning of highly productive IT companies and wrote her theses on organizational culture and organizational growth. Susanne enjoys the outdoors and is an avid swimmer and skier. She lives with her husband and two daughters in San Francisco. In her non-profit work she is an active supporter of her daughter’s schools and has been a board member of the Telegraph Hill Cooperative Nursery School in San Francisco for many years.
