When you want to “bring home” the messages – make sure your toolkit includes:

  • Key messages – two or three summarizing messages
  • Powerpoint slides – one, two at most, for each message
  • Talking points – important points teamed with prompting, open-ended questions
  • Formal and informal discussions – Meetings, town halls as well as walk-arounds and smaller huddle groups
  • Feedback processes – Surveys, emails, direct questions, etc.
